Justin Sachs, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Justin Sachs joined the Chang Dermatology team as a Physician Assistant. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Virginia Commonwealth University before going on to attend Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he earned his Master of Physician Assistant. He began his career in medicine working in cardiothoracic surgery, where he gained invaluable experience taking care of complex patients and developing strong surgical skills. He also completed multiple rotations in plastic and oral maxillofacial surgery at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters, which sparked his interest in reconstructive procedures.
Justin is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is ACLS, BLS and EMT-B certified. Within the field of dermatology, he is especially interested in medical dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
Justin’s passion for dermatology stems from the fact that it brings together his favorite aspects of medicine: technical skill, attention to detail and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients. He finds it incredibly rewarding to help heal patients physically and to help them feel confident and reassured that they’re in skilled, compassionate hands.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys photography, fitness and staying active and adventuring with his wife, Leigh, their two lively dachshunds, Carl and Walter, and their spirited border collie-whippet mix, Eddie.
